Just to start with... THE RFTEAM IS SO VERY PROUD OF ALL OF OUR LITTLE CHAMPIONS WHO COMPETED AND REPRESENTED RFT AT THE KIDS PAN 2019 TOURNAMENT!!!
Competing is not easy at all . it requires courage, determination , & hard work!
All of our students who competed showed those three characteristics and showed great sportsmanship and team work as well! It was a fun experience in which we learned at low, for which we are grateful for! It was great to see all of the RFT families who came out to support each other... TOGETHER WE GROW STRONGER
It was an emotional day for everybody here at RFTBJJ during the Belt Ceremony that took place on January 26, 2019. Many joyful tears were shed when some of our students received their new belts - we couldn't be more proud and happy for our students who have trained hard to deserve this new accomplishment in their lives.
Watch our YouTube video to see highlights of this event and some thoughts from our Professor Rodrigo about BJJ and the academy!
RFT is back on the blog! We are back and better than ever. The RF Team is excited for 2019 and what this new year will bring for the crew and our students. This year, one of our goals is to highlight how training BJJ can change lives for the better and emphasize to the community the importance of maintaining a healthy mental and physical state of being.
Every week, we will be posting a new video on your YouTube channel highlighting some aspects of how BJJ can improve lives. We started the RFT YouTube series "Changing Lives" to show the impact of BJJ in our students' lives. Two weeks ago, we featured Julian Gonsalez, a rising star athlete at the academy. Julian started as a student in the Little Champions I class (the youngest kids' class for ages 3-6) but soon after moved up to train in the Little Champions II class with the big kids because of his quick learning, desire to train hard, and attitude towards BJJ. The RF Team has been so impressed with Julian and his performance - it is so great to be able to see how training Jiu-Jitsu can have effects like maturation and growth mindset on kids of all ages... adults too of course!
